Midlothian / Parents of Lilias Ainslie
« on: Saturday 08 January 22 11:25 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking for help again regarding my 2 x great grandmother Lilias Ainslie born abt 1834 Edinburgh Midlothian and her family.  I have her in Service aged 14 at 67 Great King Street Edinburgh, she was a house maid.  I am having difficulty locating her parents and siblings I know she had one sister Mary Brodie Ainslie who was born a couple of years after her as they are both on the 1911 census boarding with family. It is driving me mad I have tried scotlands people and not come up with anything for either of the girls. I am at a loss as where to look next, Id be grateful for any help. Many thanks in advance.

Thank you all for your help.   It would appear both David and Mary were the same age,  the marriage in 1802 is correct and I think it might be right on the census him living with his son Thomas also census for 1841 and 51 are also correct the burials are a almost certainly them as they were Married at St Michaels Church also :)
