Sorry, not my family as far as I know. Most of mine worked for the Butterley Company and were engineers/blacksmiths.

Wow, I first posted this 12 years ago!
It was Thomas William Shelton born 1853 that married my relative Dora Frost. A lot of my Frost family lived in Codnor, Langley Mill, Ironville, Selston.

Hello Adrian,
My 2X Grandfather was Alfred Bray son of William Bray (b.1812) and Harriet Pudney.
Have you done the Ancestry DNA test yet?

Hello Denise,
How strange that Olga's father was her brother's child Stephen T J and not Alexander as we thought. I have her siblings as Eugene, Sophia, Alexander and Serge.

Did Stephen TJ have any other children and who and where was he married?

Thank you for the cutting Ros. I'm now starting to build up a picture of their life in Australia. This was news to me that they had emigrated.

Thank you SO much for your help.
The last I had for Nellie was on the 1901 Census in England. So I guess that they emigrated after that.
Their son, Frederick Charles B. Wilson is on the 1911 in England, staying with his granddad. Looks like he went later maybe?
They also had a daughter Violet Minnie Wilson born 1899 in Birmingham, Eng. Don't know if there were any children born in Australia.

Australia / Nellie Darling Wilson

Hello,
I'm sorry to sound so vague but I'm looking for the death of Nellie Darling Wilson (b. 1874 Middx. England). I believe that she went to Australia with her husband Charles John Wilson and two children.

Thanks Trish. I wonder if he was never registered. Stephen could have been ill for a while before he died and they never got round to registering him. It was all a bit of a dramatic time for Rebecca I think.

Many thanks for your help Trish.
I was trying to establish who Harry's father was on his marriage certificate. They look like a rather complicated family.
