Hi Clonk. Great news. That's a long time since I started this thread. Yes we have the same family and it looks like we are the same generation too. I am descended from Edward and his daughter, Barbara, is still alive and kicking and living with us in the Bedford area. Where do you come from now? Thanks.

She wasnt lost in 1881, living as cook in Alconbury Weston and listed on census as being married, but not living with the missing samuel. And yes, sorry, but same family (by marraige) with 2 samuels and 2 catherines.

OK thanks. Forgive me for asking but are you the same Margaret who has been emailing a distant cousin of mine Debbie recently? About a Samuel Read from Buckworth who you sent a picture of from the habitual criminal records at Huntingdon archives? If so this is the chap who went to the archive with her last week. Hi, I am interested in what you would like to know. Maud Hubbard was my Grandmothers twin sister.
