Suffolk Lookup Requests / Re: Coney Weston baptism
« on: Tuesday 02 April 19 10:06 BST (UK)  »
Hello emeltom,
Many thanks for your replies . Not Samuel then at CW unfortunately . I do believe his parents were Clear ("Clare")  and Mary (Hannor) who maried at CW in 1757.
I think the 1763 baptism may be too early . Also the name "Clear" features in later generations and it seems to be very uncommon name .

I believe i have Samuel's death certificate in 1848 which states he was 80 - thus born c.1768. But i also have him on the 1841 census when he says he is 60 , thus born much later c1781 .

Best regards ,

Gary.

Suffolk Lookup Requests / Coney Weston baptism

Hello , is anyone able to check the Coney Weston baptism register or BTs for 1768 please ?  FreeREG has an "Ohil"  Seaman and an "Or_bert" Seaman both baptised 7 Jul 1768 .

I am hoping one of these is , in fact , Samuel Seaman , my 4x gt grandfather .

Many thanks in advance ,

Gary.

Hello , i am looking for a marriage for William Hagar to Susan (?) , possibly at Wrestlingworth where they baptised 2 known children in 1772 and 1774 .  Also burials for both William and Susan .

Thanks in advance for any help,

Gary.

And Ancestry seem to be saying you need to edit the facts yourself ! So far i have at least 20 in my direct ancestors , could be a long job .

How do i change back to the old site please ?

Gary

It may be worth checking your Trees if you subscribe to Ancestry , the new format has changed a lot of my places in England for places in North America . For example "Albert Street" has become "Alberto , Canada" and "St Andrews (Church)" has become "St Andrews ,South Carolina" . Preston too has "moved" You can see this in the "lifestory"  of individuals , and see it on the map .

Hello , the registers for Aubourn do not seem to exist before 1749 but the BT's do and are at Lincs Archives . I think the burials for Joseph , Robert and Elizabeth and perhaps a lot more will be found in those ... assuming they are legible
Gary.

Thanks for the marriage info for Catherine .
