Hello Judith,

Yes and it occurred to me that these folk already in Queensland may have been the reason George decided Queensland and Maryborough was the place to which to immigrate.

But it may have been coincidence.

Many thanks for your efforts on my behalf Judith.

Edward AVERY of Lamberhurst Kent married Lucy UNKNOWN before 10 Nov 1623.

His Will was published 10 Nov 1623 and proved 7 May 1624 in which he mentioned his wife Lucy; this is the quantum of knowledge I have other than Lucy married for a second time to Peter FARNDEN of Sedlescombe, Sussex

Unfortunately at this time is the slimmest pickings and for this I apologise.

Hello Hillhurst,

Thank you for looking for me.  Your assistance, and finds, were fantastic and as said very much appreciated.

The Will was so very feint and took me sometime to transcribe.  There were some words I was unable to even hazard at a guess.  Nonetheless Joan mentioned only her two children David and Ann.  I 'think' Joan mentioned Ann's married name but I was unable to even guess it as it was so very feint.

Nonetheless I will close the post and as you say the marriage may not even be on line and as you also say who knows where the couple married.

Many thanks once again.
