hi it certainly looks like horseridge to me however think you hav typed date in wrong. date should read as april 23rd 1793.

hi i am a member of ancestry and have the info for 1861 and 1871 for the older siblings. found john on the 1881 census just unsure where to look for the younger children in 1871. Does anyone no where orphans were sent to. thanks Carol

hi am unable to find the whereabouts of john hope born 1856 and Mary Jane Hope born 1858 on the 1871 census. Father Ralph Hope died in 1867. At the time they were living at Willington County Durham. Have been searching for many yrs as curious why they were not with their elder sibling. Thank Carol

Still plodding on trying to find a birth (1750-1770) or even a death for my Allen Hall Now that its getting colder no more trawling round churchyards or taking photos of farms where he had been a shepherd. May get another trip to Woodhorn without getting lost this time weather dependent. Hope all on here are well.

hi looking for a birth/baptism of Elizabeth Hedley she married Jacob Hutchinson in may 1789 Birtley northumberland. They had three children Francis 1789 Anthony 1792 and Thomas 1797. all bp Birtley. Also birth/bp for a Mary Hedley who married Anthony hutchinson in june 1783 Chollerton. thanks Carol
