Hi,
It is entirely possible that our lines do meet up at some point. May have to go back quite a few generations to figure the connection out though. If there is one to be found.

Dawn, I know I may be wishing too much but have you made a connection between this family in the respect of William's father John. I haven't been able to make an absolute connection.

Thank you for the extra information worth.

Are you a descendent of William?

Ok we keep getting confused... Lets confirm that James and Jessie definitely had no children, even more likely if that is her baptism.

I was just saying that may not be her baptism, there may be another one for Jessie... or not

Yes I know cando, I was only interested about who she was before her marriage to James. I don't for sure know anymore than her father was Donald and she was born around 1817.

I am related to the Orrocks, and am descended from James' first wife. I was only interested in whether his second wife had had kids and I came across that record of Jessie Cameron marrying John Buttfield and wondered if there was a connection.

Thanks cando, this helps fill out some more information.

What do you think about Jessie Hay Buttfield being the daughter of Jessie Hay Orrock?

I've further looked after those records, E L Ifould is Edward Lorner Ifould who married Marion Burn Cameron in 1864.
IFOULD—CAMERON. —On the 8th December, at St. Andrew's Church, by the Rev. Robert Haining, Edward Lorner Ifould, to Marion, eldest daughter of the late Charles Cameron, Esq.

This gives us one more child, however the only doubt I have is that neither of these families (Buttfields or Ifoulds) seem to have any connection to the Truro/Duck Ponds area.
