I think the Times site is different to the Gale one: I've search for things that I found through the Gale database some time ago and not found them on the Times site, so I reckon they've done their own scanning and created their own database. I don't think it's quite as good as the Gale one!

Cumberland Lookup Requests / PATTINSON bap. Castle Sowerby 1830

Is anyone able to check the Castle Sowerby baptisms for the christening of William PATTINSON, 26 December 1830 please? According to the IGI he appears to be the illegitimate son of Ann PATTINSON and may be my great grandfather. I am hoping beyond hope that there may be another scrap of evidence in the original PRs to indicate who his father may have been! If someone could let me know what other information is in the register it would be very much appreciated - thank you!

I'm not sure if you got my previous message: I would be very interested for you to contact about the Fusedales. Edward was the nephew of my gg grandfather Frederick (I think, from memory!). I think he was at 4 King Street, Bloomsbury, in 1861. I have a great deal of info on this family which I would love to share.

I have just found your posting by Googling for Fusedale, which is a name I have a great deal of information on. I would be very interested to know what your connection is! I believe the 'Joseph' you are looking for may be John, written incorrectly as 'Jas' in the 1881 census. He is an ancestor of mine. Please get in touch!
