I have mislaid my disc with all names and addresses on it, with the Surnames that are being researched by them.

I am Look in at MOIR , OF Muthill, Doune or Kilmadock, etc

was I in contact with anyone on this list

John McLaren b 17 May 1730 in Callander; parents Archibald MCLAREN of Stank and Janet DRUMMOND <not worked on her family yet>
From "History of the McLarens" John died young
John, The eldest son died young.

2nd John to above parents born 2 Dec 1743, in Kernock farm, which is/was located across the river from the Anie farm

From "The History of the McLarens" John was the grandfather of Miss McNicle [sic], who married cousin James McLaren, in Toman

The Spelling of the MACLAREN Surnames, depends on the parish clerks ability, as he hears the brogue spoken he writes what he thinks he heard,hence all the different spellings
