Armagh / County Armagh - Newtownhamilton

Helloooo,
On the attached marriage record, the "Residence at the Time of Marriage" place names have me baffled. I don't know if these would be village names or street names or ?? Could anyone help out with a guess that would be more fruitful than my own failed attempts?
(I thought about posting this in the "Handwriting" section but then thought someone with knowledge of the area might have an easier time of it.)
Thank you in advance from Vancouver, BC, Canada!

The Common Room / Wrong Death Certificate
« on: Saturday 04 February 17 15:06 GMT (UK)  »
Hello,
Does anyone know where I could post the details of a death certificate that, as it turns out, isn't a match for my family tree, but perhaps could be of use to someone else? I did a quick search on Ancestry but I didn't see anyone else researching the same person. However, it does seem a waste that I have it and can't use it. It would be nice to have it listed somewhere in case it does ping onto someone's radar.
Thx in advance for any ideas.

Hi,

My link is to John William Spencer via who I believe was his first wife -- hoping for more details of how his life (and Annie's and Edgars) unfolded after he married Annie in 1918.

Thx!

Hello!
I know this is an old thread, but wanted to respond anyway in the hopes that you (Pam) do get this message.
Your information put the final piece into the puzzle for me about John William Spencer and his stepson, Edgar. The twist is that I’m not related to anyone…I believe that John’s first wife was my step-great-grandmother’s adopted daughter.
And, yes, I do have FCB on the 1911 census – living w/ his brother, John Henry. Interestingly, there is another little fellow with the name Edgar William George Barton in that household as well. Very confusing. (Of course, in the intervening years, you may have uncovered all this.)
Do you have any more details about John Spencer’s life? I would also love to hear more about EGWB.
As I am a new member I can’t send personal messages, apparently.
Hope you get this and Cheers! from Vancouver, BC, Canada
-Terri
