My mother’s madden name was Spurrier. Is your grandmother name Lilian Emily Spurrier?

There is still some living in Devon but I have not seen any living in Parracombe or High Bray.

Hi. Walter George Spurrier 1850 - 1907 is my great grandfather. He married Clara Cook in 1874.

I think that Hannah Quenby was Elizabeth Qunby’s sister.
Hannah Quenby married Thomas Smith Elstob Dryden Elstob’s brother in 1821 at St Dunstan’s Stepney, she is my 3X great grandmother.
Elizabeth Quenby was one of the witnesses to Hannah Quenby’s marriage to Thomas Smith Elstob.
Elizabeth Quenby married Dryden Elstob in 1821 and died in 1825 not long after her daughter Elizabeth was born.
Dryden Elstob married his second wife Betsy Young 14th Aug 1830 at Romsey Abbey Hampshire.
