I wish. Unfortunately the relative who scanned and emailed me this photo has passed away. The original copy is lost to me. This is how they scanned it.

Can anyone please help me translate or even just make out the letters? This was written on the back of an old family photo from a great aunt from, I believe, Kiel Germany, who moved to the states during the 1930s. This would have been from her family in Germany. The family name may have been Sammann. Thanks!

When I first posted the pics, this site said they were too big. I rescanned the women, but I may have scanned too small. If so, please let me know. This scanner is new and confusing.
