The Common Room / Re: Help finding the book Ernst Endeavours

I believe most of the ancestors have immigrated from Hamburg Germany to Moreton Bay (Brisbane) Queensland. My line  actually immigrated to Canada.
She hasn't said where she got the information from, but here is the information from the book she sent me:

I have tried the email address and hasn't worked. Since i am in Canada i haven't tried to phone number. I am going to send a letter by mail if my online attempt doesn't succeed. * Just googled the address and it came up sold in 2016. So i guess Marie won't be at that address anymore :( .

That is what i was afraid of. I have tried to contact the author and have had no luck, the email doesn't work.
Thank you Guy Etchells for trying those book stores for me! I hadn't thought of looking at those.

Ruskie, I had learned about this book from the only Ernst  descendant that I have been in contact with so far. She has only the chapters that pertain to her line, which isn't the same line of mine. I will see if i can find that picture with the source being the book. I have tried to see if there are snipits of the book on ancestry but haven't found any as of yet. Thanks for the suggestion!

I guess I will have to see if someone who has a copy reads this notice or answers one of my other inquiries on ancestry.

Amy

Trying to find a copy of the book "Ernst Endeavours". It is written by Maria Oldfield in 2003. It could of been self published in Australia. Would love to find even a copy of it, or the Ernst ancestors chapters that pertain to my family line :) . Is there any place I can check?

Thank you Groom, I did some searching under 1926 and that area but nothing comes up that would make me think that it is her for sure. Different spouse names etc comes up with the information. That is where i get stuck. Wish I could find a clue as to where she passed, town or year.

HI Groom,
My father was born: May 21, 1926
County            Kievsky Oblast

Region            Gostomel’   (Hostomel)

Village            Irpin

I'm looking for information regarding his mom, Justine Assenheimer that i cannot find her birth or death dates and a list of her sibblings, 4 other brothers and 1 sister. Her parents are Emelia Assenheimer, maiden name Ernst, and father Johan Assenheimer who we only have death year of 1921.
Thanks!

Trying to track down family members on my fathers side. The trouble is that i do not have many dates and information. My father's mothers name was justine assenheimer. I have no information, or dates other than i do know she passed before coming to Canada. Her mother was Emelia Assenheimer (ernst) 1869 - 1955. She had 6 boys and two girls, one of which was justine. Two son's are: gustav assenheimer 1890-1969 (on immigration papers was from Janowka) and reinhold assenheimer 1895-1963( Found on other family tree Janowka russia as well). One daughter passed at the age of 3. Emelia's husbands name was john and he died in 1921.  I am trying to find the other son's to see if anyone has more information on their family trees for Justine.  I have tried  keep hitting brick walls  as to birth certificates, death certificates and marriage certificates for Justine as well as any other children for Emelia. If you all can direct me to where to look i would be much appreciative!

Thank you so much Ian999.My father went by johan all this life so i am wandering if the "logan" be a sloppy written Johan?  My apologies for not including his first name in my original post.
This is very helpful. I do have the whole certificate that i perhaps should try to condense so to post.

Arthurk - Thank you for your help as well. I will be searching with your suggestions as well!
