London and Middlesex / Re: Molly Parker ne Peters c 1875 and Journalist Henry Parker

Hello All,
My father was John Edwin Patten Parker, Henry Patten Parker's son. I am similarly confused about Henry's parents. I'm not totally convinced that when Mollie moved in with the Noakes family (1911 census) she was a widow. She was also registered as being without a partner as early as 1901 but then had another child in 1903 (Guy). There was always some sort of hint in the family that these children had different fathers but I've never sorted that one out to my satisfaction. I have also heard that Henry senior was a journalist so if you believe what they say about journalists being a bit 'fly-by-night'......!
I can remember Violet very dimly from my childhood - red hair. There was also a bit of a 'moment' when Cyril died. My dad inherited some money from him and was told by some members of Cyril's family that he should give it back because he hadn't been in contact with him! He didn't and was cross about this.
I also assume that 'Mollie' was Mary Peters from Halliford but there is no conclusive evidence of that so a lot of this is still one big mystery but it's nice to know there are other people out there digging around.
