Thank you so much for your help

Sorry, usually all replies come back to my email but alas I somehow missed this. I’m not actually sure. Martha Ward I found living in Calstock, Cornwall in the 1871 Census. Had a daughter born 1869 named Beatrice. Next event was they had a son (William John Ward) born we think at New York or SAN Francisco or California in 1872. I understand James left Cornwall around 1869 and went possible via Ontario as his parents and some siblings went to Algoma to Bruce Mines. In 1875 James came to NZ listed as a widow.
Thank you

Yes thats right, just not sure where two now. Could the marriage be annulled? Maybe Keturah left and came back to the UK or else where ... frustrating

Canada / Where is Edward and Keturah Kitts/Kitto née Ward of Algoma Ontario 1872
« on: Tuesday 10 July 18 09:16 BST (UK)  »
This couple have disappeared of the face of the earth? Keturah came out to Ontario with her parents John and Mary Ward in 1866 on the SS. Peruvian no.7 Keturah appears in the 1871 Ontario census at Bruce Mines living with her parents and siblings. Next source is her marriage to Edward Kitto 8 June 1872 at Bruce Mines, Algoma. After that there no more info. No births of children or deaths of Edward or Keturah. Where have they gone..... Goggled the kitto name and Keturah but no positive leads so far. Welcome any help

Thank you

Warwickshire / Looking for John Ward’s parents of Coventry.c 1814

Talk about a needle in a haystack I am trying to find my 3 X great grandfathers parents. All I have to go on is from his NZ death certificate in 1884

John Ward died in 1884 aged 64  (born c1820 Coventry). occupation Copper miner. Listed his father as John Ward snr his occupation listed as a Gamekeeper.

John Ward jnr left Coventry because he next turns up in the Parish of Stowford, Devon where he marries Mary Blithe in 1837. They then moved to Gunnislake, Cornwall occ a miner and then in 1861 went to Ontario to Bruce Mines, then onto Thames NZ. That had twelve children.

On there is a John Ward chc 10 Mar 1821 at Coventry son of John and Mary and a sibling Joseph ch. 4 Dec 1818. John and Mary née Blithe did have son called Joseph, So names seem to fit well.
Q. Is there info on Gamekeepers of Warwick in the 1820/30s
Q. Directory or other into which my help with The name Ward whom was a gamekeeper etc.
Q. Looking for a death of John Ward snr died possible Bef 1841 with the same or similar occupation.

There appears to be a marriage 3 Oct 1813 Nuneaton of John Ward whom married Mary Taylor but unsure if this is the right parents. Would it give Johns occupation in this marriage? Sorry I don’t have access to for the moment.

Thanks for your help.
Kind regards
