Essex Resources & Offers / Re: Surnames of Great Waltham baptisms

Hi Kath

This might be too much to ask.  I have 5 surnames from Great Waltham around that time, they are: Crow, Davis, Horsenail, Livermore and Phillibrown.

If it's too many names I understand.

Thanks in advance.

Take care.

Hi Teresa

I have 2 Murrell's from Norwich in my tree, but sadly no Mann's.
Cant find much about the Murrell family at all, I have a Winifred Murrell who married a James Taylor in 1789, whose parents were a Wolterton Taylor and Mary Murrell, who married in 1759, keep it in the family,  :D but cant find anything out about the Murrell's.
If i get any further information about them, i'll let you know.

Take care.

Hi I'm new to Rootschat, so any mistakes, please forgive me.

I am descended from a MARY HUNT born 1803 in LECHLADE, parents WILLIAM and ANNE, she married RICHARD PANTING in HANNINGTON WILTSHIRE.

Any information on the HUNT'S would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks.

Just thought i'd add my twopennyth worth, what i find fascinating is when your reading a book about History or watching a documentary on TV, about the year 17 or 18 something or another, you suddenly think, Oh so and so lived threw that and might have even been involved in it, it just makes it more intriguing for me. The other strange thing is that in the 1850's one branch of my family and one branch of my wife's family lived two streets from each other in Manchester and could have even known each other, brings everything a little closer. Small world or what.

Essex Completed Lookup Requests / Re: Livermore - Felsted/Felstead
« on: Thursday 02 March 06 14:27 GMT (UK)  »
Hello

I've just discovered this site, and looking through came across this thread, jolou25, i am a direct descendant of the other Joseph Livermore through his son Aaron, little bit of information i have they must have been friends, as according to Felstead marriages 1813-1837 they both married on the same day, Dec 4th 1829, my Joseph to Ann Crow and the other Joseph to Eliza Wakefield, also the same time Aaron was born, Joseph and Eliza had a son Moses, so either they were both deeply religious or they had a great sense of humour, don't know anymore about either of them, such as parents or anything, but it's nice to know that our ancestors probably grew up together, small world eh!

Take Care.
