Y'all will be pleased to know that I have found the marriage that shows Father in Law is CORRECT  ;D. Although the marriage was pre-1837 I eventually found it in one of the rootsweb databases.

Cheers

Any ideas what it says in the 'relationship' column here? The rest of the line shows us that this person is male, age 74, Pauper Ag lab and either blind or deaf & dumb.

<<< 550 MAILBOX NOT FOUND
550 <detectress705309 [at] aol.com>... User unknown

The Common Room / Who is the "detectress"

On RootsWeb there is a database called "detectress". I see that I am in it as a "living unknown". I would like to get in touch with the owner of the database but the email adress given is rejected as 'unkown' by AOL.

Does anyone know how I can contract the "detecress"?

Pembrokeshire / Skone and Whittow in Walwyn's Castle
« on: Friday 09 June 06 21:26 BST (UK)  »
George Whittow (b ~1808 Talbenny) married Anne Skone (b ~1811 Llangwm) on 2nd April 1833 in Llanstadwell. They raised a family in Walwyn's Castle. I am looking for any information about their earlier ancestry.
