Just a quick note. There was a Williams butcher in the former indoor market in Bangor and they also had a butcher shop in Caernarvon. I think it was Gwilym Williams and son. A look through Trade directories may help.

Sounds far too easy a problem to solve to me. Click on the green leaf hint, if it's a hint you don't want, when it comes up ... click ''Ignore'' It shouldn't come up again  :)

FYI .. I've come across what looks like 'Lettice' before in Ebenezer cemetery in Llanllyfni and it was actially Letitia. Llandwrog and Llanllyfni are not that far apart.
Amended ; the Letitia buried in Ebenezer was born 1908, I was just pointing out a possibility.

Not sure about this but, Ancestry is showing this may be the mother of Robert

Just an observation, but you have Mary christened 'before' she was born !
There are records for Caernarvonshire going back to 1674 but they aren't easy (and sometimes impossible) to read

1939 Register shows an Elizabeth Rowlands living at 4 Swan, Pontllyfni, born Sept. 1, 1881, Grocery Dealer. Is this the same family?
