Yorkshire (West Riding) / Pollie (Mary Elizabeth} Thorpe nee Holt
« on: Monday 29 June 20 13:19 BST (UK)  »
A few years ago I visited the cemetery near Worsborough to find the grave of my great Aunty Pollie . I did not find it but saw her mother's and father's ,David and Anne E Holt, which was well attended. I am assuming therefore that some relative is caring for it.
I am looking for a way of getting a photograph of Aunty Pollie so I am hoping that some one in the family uses Roots chat and can help.
I am Dorothy Ford daughter of Marjorie Lucas nee Peet whose mother, Alice Peet, was the sister of Henry Thorpe, Aunty Pollie's husband.

Sandra,
I have used White papers but cannot open because I am not resident in USA. However I can assume that the
(*) Minson on facebook is not the person I am interested in. I am not very familiar with facebook.  I do not use it much. I am not all that clever with RootsChat.  Thanks for introducing me to other sites
Dorothy

Catherine born 1851 in Preston UK, went to Utah in 1864, Arthur born about 1875,I have no dates of Ted and the only detail I found about (*) was that he was the son of Ted. The last I heard of (*) was in an e-mail on 3 Feb 2014. I have written to that address but had no reply.  He was brought up near Los Angeles then served as a police officer in Phoenix. He retired in 2007 and moved to Wyoming. I suppose he could be deceased. The family are Latter Day Saints. There is a (*) Minson on facebook but he does not look like the photo I have. I have limited access to Ancestry but next week I will look for more dates.
Thanks
