Hi

I am going to Malta for a holiday in a few days.
My husband's grandfather was born there.
He was born in Mosta.  Can anyone tell me where I can go to search both birth and baptism records

Northumberland / Re: earsdon church?? 1971 Burial HELP.
« on: Saturday 27 January 18 13:26 GMT (UK)  »
I have checked the Earsdon burial register which is held at the local studies department of North Tyneside Council and unfortunately there is no record of the burial at that cemetery nor Preston Cemetery.  The death is registered at the Northumberland West registry. You should email Newcastle registrars on registrars@newcastle.gov.uk who may be able to locate the cemetery where your ancestor is buried.

Northumberland Lookup Requests / John George Howey born 30/7/1878

Can anyone help with any more information on John George Howey.  I have traced him on both the 1881 and 1891 census but cannot find anything more about him.  He was born in North Shields in 1878 and his parents were John and Eleanor Howey. Thanks  Frances ;)

Norfolk / Re: The NURSE families from Weybourne & North Norfolk.

Hi

I am a descendant of the nurse family who moved to Northumberland in the 1860s.  My gg grandparents are George Nurse and Mary Otty. My great grandparents were Frances Nurse (one of george & Mary's) children and James Beavis.  The Beavis's are also from Norfolk.

If you google www.donaldfamily.co.uk you will find quite a lot about the families.

Hi.

I am new to rootschat and desperately seeking information for the NURSE families of Weybourne & Kelling in Norfolk, especially before 1800.
Connections to these families have been traced to the villages & towns of Trimingham, Alby with Thwaite, Holt, Cley - next - Sea and others in North Norfolk.
One NURSE family moved from Weybourne to Northumberland in the mid 1800's and another NURSE family from Kelling emigrated to Austarlia.

Any information will be a great help.

Thank you in advance.
