My Grt grt grandmother was Clarissa Davi(e)s. She is a brick wall. According to her marriage certificate (1849) her father was George (a porter), and on her death certificate her mother was Patience Blan(d)ford). I have found her parents' marriage certificate (1824), but not Clarissa's birth certificate although she was born about 1830. Clarissa married Anton Wilhelm Friedrich Sievers and they, along with Wilhelm's brother and his wife, immediately jumped on a ship to New Zealand. I can't find any census records showing George and Patience together. Some very interesting things:  My aunty has 3 DNA matches to 3 different children of Johann Friedrich Heins (1828-1913) and Emma Martha Davis. Is with through the Heins side or the Davi(e)s side The Emma's father was George, the same as Clarissa, although I know that these names are common. And guess what  ! George and his daughter Emma were living in Booth St Spitalfields in 1851 (with no mother) and Booth St is listed as Clarissa's address at the time of her marriage in 1849...Any thoughts are most welcome.

Yes he married Margaret Walker - 17 Aug 1815 • St. Botolph Aldgate, London, England.
There three children were baptised in the Chapel Royal of St. Peter ad Vincula, The Tower of London. Richard worked there.

Hi there,
I am looking for any information on a Richard Belshaw born ~1770 Shan(k)hill, near Lurgan. This information came from his army discharge records in 1809. Its also stated he was a weaver. On discharge he moved to London, England, married and had a family, from whom I am descended. Thereafter his surname has been spelt Bellshaw. It is our understanding that his forbearers were French Huguenot refugees. 
I would appreciate any help please.

Don't know if you will get this, but I am searching the Isabella Curphey and Thomas Kinvig (both b ~1786 IOM) you mention in one of your other threads. I see you have found them in the 1841 and 1851 IOM census but for the life of me I can't see them. Is there any reason for this please ? Catherine's sister, Eliza (b 1815) is my gt gt grandmother. She was also a Milliner. Her married daughter and children came to New Zealand in 1879.

I would be very grateful if you have any information on Isabella Curphey and Thomas Kinvig please. I have his birth date and their marriage dates only and an unconvincing list of their children. I don't have the Ann listed who appears to be another daughter, providing 2 Isabella's Beedon grandchildren.
