Thanks Keckers, have saved it for future use ... my 3rd ggrandfather is on there, I ordered his records a few years ago, and must admit, I had a lump in my throat reading it.  Even mentioned that two children went to America.

 Okay I will laugh ;D ;D ;D ;D

Happens to us all ...whether on BDM's or elsewhere.  I could never find an ancestors birth, no matter how much I navigated Scotlands People. Just a couple of days ago, I finally found the oldest daughter's  birth/baptism record, even though I had searched with an "s" added on to the surname (just in case), over the last few years, and as I was browsing up the page, the elusive ancestor jumped out, he was an adult baptism, finally found the month and day of his birth.  He got baptised a couple of months before the birth.

Elizabeth Zora

Minniehaha.

Yes Minnie, hangs head. ;D  I was only going by the birth index on Ancestry, that has it has Sarah Elizabeth, in the first quarter.

Kurow's small first thread on the Lilley family.

1877/2032           Lilley    Zorah Elizabeth    Leah   Joseph

I think Zorah should read as Sarah ....this will be a transcription error.

Thanks Janette,  Thought that might be the case, should have checked properly, but as I was being hustled out the door,  I  just had to click send, knowing that I was probably doubling up ;D :D

There is a James William Kendall born about 1857 and a Mary Kendall born about 1864 Adelaide, South Australia, on the 1911 Census.

Perhaps he married in England?
