Thank you for the Parish information.  I'm guessing that their local cemetery would be the large Glasnevin cemetery?  Or are there others in the vicinity.  I'm initially looking at the first half of the 1900's

Of course the birth cert is not much use to me if I'm after the parents of the bride and groom.  Back to the think room :-[

I wasn't thinking straight, Shane  :P  I'll see if I can locate a birth for one of the children and that should clear up the parents name.  Thanks for the input

Thank you Feno!  Am so grateful for the time and interest shown to me with these Irish rellies ;D  I will continue whittling away at the families and in particular the children of Michael and Mary Watters.  It appears that Thomas never married and Michael emigrated to Pennsylvania.  Margaret married John Deegan and Winifred m Laurence Conwell.  Mary (jnr) married John Lawlor in Dublin in 1903, which is where I am at the moment.  Perhaps others on the board will recognise this family  Meanwhile I'll order the death cert for Mrs W Conwell and once again, keep my fingers crossed!
Thanks again for such great information

Thank you once again, Shane.  I will apply for the marriage cert for Mary & John Lawlor.  I'm trying to make his mother's name 'Murphy' and by enlarging the Church record and a bit of imagination I think I see it!!!  This will  tie him in very nicely with his sister Julia and another branch of my family :)  fingers crossed .....

Attempting to locate further children and extended families etc.
Some records have surname as Lalor/Lawler
I appreciate any help/ideas   Still looking through the Electoral rolls for 1939 and am at a loss as to where I should look further
Thank you

Thank you very much for such speedy help in identifying Lawrence and Winifred Conway for me!  I do have their marriage cert and was looking to see whether I could locate evidence of family and of course a death for Winifred.  Her mother and my grandmother were sisters!  I appreciate your taking the time to help and provide me with such relevant information :)
