:) :) :) :)If you check out the www.leitrim-roscommon.com website, you will find the 1901 census for Counties, Leitrim,Roscommon,Mayo,Sligo,Wexford,Westmeath & Galway. as far as the 1911 is concerned you will have to wait I'm afraid.

Thanks for the encouragement Kath. I shall take your advice. I think my biggest problem has been that I got impatient and maybe I tried too hard by looking at too many sites.

Aren't you the lucky one Markpy. After 3 frustrating years  I can't get past my Fathers Folks on my Paternal side, have had a bit more luck on the Maternal side, but as they say one must "keep on keeping on"

Not sure how I found it as I have just about exhausted every genealogy site available in my attempts to find the elusive Farrells. I haven't been here for a while, but have once again got the "genealogy bug" so I am looking forward to some browsing on the boards once more. (Great site)

Thanks Ticker
I have checked most of the websites you mentioned, but there are a couple I wasn't aware of so I will be looking them up soon.
Thanks again.

I have long ago left athlone, but I actually worked  for a while in a Bakery across the Square from Athlone Castle & watched the "Boarders" from St Peters Secondary girls school & the day pupils pass by the window on a daily basis. Yes the school could be viewed from the Castle. I am also in a dilema with my ancestors. I & a million others are researching the name Farrell from Co's Roscommon/Westmeath, too many "brick walls".
Good luck with your reasearch.
