Hi I am looking for info on the Dundee Cook School and in particular Ena M Dods who wrote a Practical Cookery book while teaching there. The net hasnt been helpful so I wondered if anyone knew of anyone/place I could contact for help?

Hi, the nearest primary school to Annbank Street was Thomson Street Primary on the corner of Thomson Street and Reidvale Street.  This building has now been converted into flats.

Hope this helps

Hi
I think the Scout Centre Lapwing Lodge at the Paisley Braes used to be a TB Hospital. Something in the back of my mind from visiting with the Guides years ago. I cant find anything online but if you contact them they should be able to confirm this.

Hi
Greenock is in Inverclyde. Renfrewshire doesn't go as far down the Clyde as Greenock.

Hi

There was a Fireclay works in Ferguslie, Paisley back in the late 1890's making bricks and tiles.

I can't find the exact location.
