This is a bit of a long shot but wandering if anyone can check 1921 Census for Winchester area for Emma Hughes baptised in 1852 in Eccles, Lancashire
She was married twice.  Her first husband was James Bannerman who died in 1904 in Elgin and her 2nd husband was William Simpson who died in 1926 in Winchester.   I've come to a brick wall looking for her death and wandered if she was still alive in 1921
I posted a previous query regarding William but unfortunately, there re no newspapers available on British Newspaper Archives for that year to check if he was still with Emma

Hello

Can anyone help with looking up a newspaper obituary for William Simpson who died on 13 March 1926 at 20 Monks Road, Winchester, Hants.  He was born  on 7th March 1848 in Rothes, Morayshire and was married to Emma Hughes on 16th October 1907 at Birnie, Morayshire
His parents were Archibald Simpson and Jane Jolly.
Emma was born circa 1842 in Eccles, Manchester and her parents were Henry Hughes and Judith Bryce.  I don't have a death date for her.

Thanking in advance

New Zealand Completed Requests / Re: Death Look Up in Dunedin, NZ

Many many thanks to all for information.  I just found out that Elspit Gullister wasn't married to David Sutherland. David, born 1818, was Illegitimate.  As for the surname, it seems to change from Gullister to Guillish
A huge thank you to Dundee for the immigration record.   I looked on Family Search and couldn't find it.  I should have gone to Specsavers!!!

Can anyone help with looking up a death for Elspet Sutherland, maiden name was either Gullister or Gullish, who died on  11th November 1889 in Dunedin, Otago, NZ
I'm unsure when she was born, probably circa 1795 in Scotland
Her son, David Sutherland, was born in 1818 in Drainie, Lossiemouth, Morayshire and was married to Elizabeth Simpson, born in 1820 in Alves, Morayshire.  I found David and Elizabeth on the 1871 Census living in Newton Farm, Ross & Cromarty with their family but nothing after 1871.  David died in 1878 in Dunedin and Elizabeth died in1889 in Dunedin.   I couldn't find any passenger list for them or any of the family but someone on Ancestry has his Mother, Elspet, dying in 1889 in Dunedin.
The family I have for David & Elizabeth are:
Jane / David / Catherine / Elizabeth / Mary Ann / William / James / Elspet & Isabella, all born in Scotland
Any help would be appreciated

Hello
Can anyone who has access to the Canadian Newspapers look up a Marriage for Alexander Cook and Barbara Robb approximately 1915???
They were both born in Aberdeenshire.
On 1916 Census Alexander and Barbara and Elizabeth Jean Cook are living in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan
The 1921 Census for Rhynie, Aberdeenshire show Elizabeth Jean Cook (my Aunt) born circa 1916 / Elspet Cook born circa 1918 (both born in Saskatchewan and also Dorothy Cook born circa 1920 in Colorado, USA.
Alexander was born in 1889 in Rhynie and he was recorded on the 1901 census in Rhynie.  I haven't found him on 1911 Census so I think he must have sailed about 1907 & 1916
I'm unable to find either of them on a passenger list and there's no trace of their Marriage in Scotland.
Thanking in advance for any help
