Hello, Please accept my apologies for my late reply;  I have not looked at that particular branch of my tree for some time, I needed time to pick things up.  I’m sorry I don’t have any further information as tKate Wishart Duthie is not my direct descendant. If I come across any further information I will post. All the best with your research.

hi

Thanks, Yes I have found his burial on Ancestry.  There is a number on the register but the number appear to be consecutive so im not sure what this is for,  It may be probable that he was buried in an unmarked grave or like you say his headstone has worn away.

Warwickshire / Holy Trinity, Bordesley burials

Hi

I have a 3rd gt grandfather who was buried here on 17 Nov 1850.

Are there any MIs anywhere which might relate to this church?

I understand that some of the remains were removed during road widening works and also headstones removed when the church was deconsecrated in 1970.

Thanks in anticipation ...

Unfortunately Birmingham Archives is closed until September so the original is unable to be checked.  I have confirmed with the fellow RC who advised of the details from a cd that the Parish wasnt given on the cd.  I had also wondered whether there were any banns but due to the closure I dont think I can progress any further at the moment,  I will ring the local LDS later and ask them whether the film referred to is available and when it might be available.  Thanks for your assistance.
