I am trying to confirm the grandparents of Bishop George Rigg.  I know his parents are George Rigg 1772-1818 and Isabella Caven 1788-1869.  Can anyone confirm the parents of George Rigg and/or Isabella Caven.  They are my GGGreat Uncle and Aunty.  Many thanks patmotty.

We are related through Catherine (Lily) Wood as she is my GGAunt.  I have been recently trying to do more research on that side of my family and would love to find out more.
Can you contact me please.

Sorry but I have so many James Campbells that I could buy certificates for and I am just trying to narrow it down and discount people.  Thanks for your help.

My direct line comes from the RIGG'S of Kirkcudbrightshire.   James RIGG (my GGGGrandfather)  1765 Twynholm -1841Twynholm married Grace TAGGART 1767 Borgue -1837 Twynholm.  The family lived at High Banks Farm and the line from George Rigg B1861 comes from their son Thomas RIGG 1789-1853 who married Mary Webster 1785-1853.  Their son James 1826 - death unknown at this stage married Eliza STEVENSON 1824 from Shropshire England.

From census entries I have George B1861 as their 5th child.  Would really like to find out anymore I can about George and the rest of the RIGGS.
Many thanks
Pat

If anyone has a book on Royal Irish Constabulary I would like the details on Ewin or Euin Porter - I think he was born around 1811.

Thanks
