Thank you very much! Names are often difficult to read and are sometimes written as they were heard. Even more to look at now!
Thanks

Thanks both. Plenty to follow through.
Thomas, a brother, married Rose (unknown), and died in Rathfriland on Feb 11 1882.
Margaret married John Connolly, and died on June 22 1888, possibly in Belfast.
Edward married Mary Kelly, and died in Rathfriland on June 20 1904

Thanks everyone.
I notice now that one of the witnesses to John Moore's will, was Barnard (sic) Trainor.
Oldohiohome has spotted Trainor travelling with Moore on one crossing to US. Perhaps the families were friends in Rathfriland?
The Moore family was RC.
Good point, and I can't now confirm that John & Christine were married in Rathfriland.

Thanks Oldohiohome - for your generous time. Much for me to consider.
Thanks, again.

Hi,
Parents names were John, a cobbler, and Catherine.
Siblings were believed born between 1827 and 1844. remained in Ireland.
Just noticed, that might make the three other girls born between 1827 and 1844 - perhaps.
Thanks

Hi,
Does anyone have these sisters in their family tree?
They emigrated from Ireland to US before 1873. I don't know their ages, or whether they travelled together. I have tried the Ellis Island site, without success. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,
Yes, I have, but not surprisingly there are a few hundred in total. Residence in Ireland not recorded.
Nor do I know if they travelled together, although they might well have. I live in hope that "someone" in US recognise the names!

Hi, I know the Moore sisters emigrated from Ireland to US before 1873. I don't know when they travelled or if they were together. Any advice would be very welcome.
