This may be an old story repeated every so often but the first time I've seen it.  What a time capsule.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes to you, and if you observe these Holidays.

I wanted to say a big 'THANK YOU' to everyone who offered advice and comments over the past 12 months.  Its so nice to know I can post a request and someone will respond, even if its only to point me in the right direction or move me up the threads.  Your knowledge and advice is very much appreciated.

I'll certainly look into that.  I just wasn't sure that I could do it as I've had subscriptions before.

Worth checking tho.

thanks

That's interesting.  Maybe I will look at the cost of a subscription for Christmas (sorry to use that word in October!!!)

Hey Boo, I think I was using a Samsung then and now on an IPhone so unless I kept the Sim Card, I doubt it :-(

Carol - that's interesting.  Unfortunately, there is no one left to ask.

Unfortunately not.  It would have been one of the local newspapers around Lancashire and St Helens.  I'll try and spend some time going though my boxes of papers and my note pad may turn up.  Thanks for your interest and help.
