I have a Anna, Janet, John, Jean, Hugh and Margaret Maiklam born Tarbolton 1807 -1812. Can anyone tell me anything about their father James Maiklam born about 1801 and married to Janet Campbell in Tarbolton. I don't think he wa born in Tarbolton

The name is Cuthbertson. I have alexander d 1871 but his mother and father prob both died newlands too.  Iwent to Newlands but there was only onr readable stone there with Cuthbertson on it. They married 1790. in Newlands They were Alexander Cuthbertson and Marion Sanderson they had  James b 1796 Thomas 1801 AND Alexander 1803(whose stone is still standing but has no other fam members on it.
