Hello hope you don't mind, been looking at your posting and think this may help,
firstly your Edwin Fry's death/ burial in 1878 points to a birth abt 1815, in 1814 there is a baptism for an Edwin Fry at Newchurch, parents Isaac Fry and Anne, from past experience families at Ryde often had children baptised at Newchurch, your Edwin Fry gives his birthplace as Ryde in one of the census.
secondly your Edwin Fry had the following children (IOWFH)

Hello is there anyone who can tell me what enumeration district number I would need to find Edward Street, Ladywood, St Marks in the 1881 census, thats where my family were living in 1891, they were certainly there in 1885 when one of their childrens birth was registered and they were living in the Ladywood distict in 1871, but as much as I have tried I cannot find them in 1881.I need the number so that I can go through each page if I have to.

thankyou iow maiden

« on: Thursday 21 July 11 22:19 BST (UK)  »
Hello again Casey,
records are often hard to find, the IGI does not include all baptisms for the Isle of Wight,I have researched Lock/e families on the Isle of Wight for at least 10 years, luckily I copied all Lock/e baptisms up until 1837 from the card index several years ago, if you have any further questions I may be able to help, regards IOW Maiden
