I am struggling to find a death for Henry Edward Dowding born 1871, married to Annie.
All I can find is this on Familysearch:
Henry Edward Dowding
Principal
England and Wales, National Index of Wills and Administrations, 1858-1957

Death4 July 1911
Probate4 November 1959
Middlesex, England, United Kingdom
Other:Annie Elizabeth Willmot Dowding

One contributor mentions the possibility Henry went to Canada, but that doesn't account for above??????????

My interest is really with the Crossman's.

Hi,
Many thanks for that, that would fit in with the gt niece believing he went to Australia. I will ask is Victoria means anything?
Thank you Doidy

Hi,
Thank you for that. It could well be the one I am looking for, though the age would be four years out???? We all know that often happens though. I wasn't expecting him to be with anyone else. I will wait to hear back from the family as to what they think.
Regards Doidy

I would appreciate any help in location Joseph James Merriott born 1866 Compton Dundon, Somerset. He was the son of Henry Merriott & Charlotte Amelia nee Roberts. The last time I can find him is the 1901 census when he was a boarder in Bristol.
A gt niece of his seems to think he went to Australia & used to write letters to his nephew Sidney Merriott? However there was a younger sibling Harry who went to Canada, so might he have gone to Canada?
Henry & Amelia had 11 children & he is the only one I can't account for? I think others are struggling with him as 5 people have him on their tree, but nobody has him after he left Somerset.
Any help appreciated please.
Thankyou Doidy

Hi Jane,
I don't have full access to Ancestry. I believe if we message each other 3 times? we can then privately message each other through this site? I could then give you my email add.
Thanks Doidy
