Yes I will, that would be great, I have the date of death, but hoping to find out what they died from.  Daniel ward, born chadlington, oxon uk, died in crawley, uk.  I believe buried in the hailey churchyard.  His death date was 7/19/1863.  James Fawdrey, born  2/23/1772, witney,  oxon, died 6/8/1845, I believe he is buried in salford, oxon,uk   Sussanah ward, wife of the above Daniel, died around 1861, crawley, oxon,uk.  She also was born in chadlington oxon,uk  I believe she is buried in a church yard in crawley, oxon.  Thank you for any information you might find.  marlene

Hello again, the post that Kimberley answered is correct.  William was the son of Dorcas ward.  The information is listed as follow"  14 August 1836  William Ward  bb  s Dorcas, crawley.  Does anyone know what the bb stands for. Could that be the sign he was illegitimate?   I also followed advice of the other wonderful posts I received on this William ward, and ordered his marriage certificate from OFHS in Cowley.  I just got it today, it doesn't list either mother or father, so I do now believe he was illegitimate.  Thank you all for you kind help, goblin

Hello, I am trying to find out who were the parents of a William ward, born either 1836 or 1837, crawley, oxfordshire England.  On the 1841 and 1851 census for crawley he is listed as a grandson of Daniel ward.  Any help would be greatly appreciated  Thank you, goblin

Hello, that's what I was thinking, but I cannot document that for sure.  She was 25, might have had him out of wedlock, and in 1841 she marries a man named John Roberts, and they had children, but no William was ever listed.  thank you

Hello, I am asking for some help, if someone could find the mother of one of my relatives from crawley, oxfordshire England, names William ward.  .  He is listed as born there in 1836.  He is on the 1851 census as a grandson of my 3rd grt grandfather Daniel and his wife sussana ward.  They were living in crawley, oxon.   I can find his birthdate on ancestry.co.uk, but it does not say the mothers name.  I am suspect it could have been the daughter of Daniel and sussana named Dorcas.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  thank you!

thank you all for such great information.  looking at the will for wllliam , he uses the fawdrey spelling as Ffawdrey, but others listed in the will use fawdry, fawdrey.  There is also a mary fawdrey listed from radbourne.  That might be a interesting person to search.  Some people have said that the Ffawdrey spelling has a french connection to it?????  Havent been able to find any french connection though.  I definitely will order the cd of salford and chipping norton.  If you find anything else interesting , i would love to hear.  goblin from the usa
