Fondue is probably off the menu in the circumstances,but a finger buffet of cheese and pineapple on cocktail sticks,quiche lorraine and carrot cake should be allowed,background music being supplied by Phil Collins-"Something in the Air".

A friend once held a "Wines of the World" party.After much diligent searching I opted for taking a bottle of Chateau Musar from the Beqaa Valley,Lebanon.I kept it to myself as soon as I had presented it.Far too nice to share.
