I've just found out that my gggg grandmother had a brother called Horatio Nelson Trafalgar Hope.  He was born around 1807 in Hawick, Roxburgh, Scotland. 

Would love to hear from anyone with any information.  I have details of his sister Wilhelmina's line and haven't come across another Horatio in the family.

Hi

I'm looking for any information on James Blenkinsop. Whilst he was born in 1819 - Dumfries-shire.  There are no records on any other Blenkinsops born there.  I realise that there are a lot of Blenkinsops from the Durham area but cannot make a connection. 

James married Wilhelmina Hope(from Roxburghshire, one of her brothers was called Horatio Nelson Trafalgar Hope!!  What a name to live up to!!  If anyone has details on him, please do share.). 

James and Wilhelmina moved to Lancashire and finally ended up in Surrey.  His children were, James, Louisa, William and Charles.  Charles was my ggg grandfather his daughter was also called Wilhelmina.

I wonder if anyone has come across James in their research.  I've yet to find out his parents and siblings.  Any information would be appreciated.

Any information on the above is appreciated. 

James was the brother of my gg grandmother Wilhelmina Blenkinsop.  He was born in Lancashire in 1848.  The 1871 census has the following (the surname of Blenkinsop is mis-spelt).

In 1881 he was living in Egham, Surrey and married Louisa Blackett in 1882 and she died 28 Mar 1900.   Louisa was the daughter of  John Charles Blackett and her grandfather was Sir William Blackett, 5th Bt. 

If anyone has any information on the children of James and Louisa, I would be grateful.  Also, if anyone can trace the other brother, William Blenkinsop please let me know.  Whilst have I have found details of the parents of Wilhelmina Amelia (Nee Hope) I would be interested to know of the parents of James.

I'm new to this so all tips are appreciated.
