The Stay Safe Board / Diary summary week ending 22nd October
« on: Tuesday 17 October 23 14:17 BST (UK)  »
Hi folks, where is everyone?

Sunny but cold and blustery today, would love to be at the coast overlooking  the waves wrapped up with  a cup  of soup

Have changed the bed linen into winter ones  but last night was  so hot I laid on top till late early hours when it turned cold again, rads on as my husband feels the cold.

Hope all is well,  keep warm

Good afternoon folks
Don't think anyone else has tuned it yet
It is a really nice day today, not hot but a nice sunny day, a few of these days will  suit me just fine, had enough rain.

Hope everyone is feeling better than they did last week and they have reasonable weather where they are, all those celebrating I hope you had an enjoyable time.

Well folks, here we are again  yet beginning  a new week

Weather not so good,  had rain  overnight, woke up to what I would call a September morning  but if has rained on and off since, so much so I had to being my washing in.

Not a happy bunny  today, had news re my accident and I am not at all happy,  don't think I can say too much on here.

Went with the local bowls club to Lewes  in Sussex yesterday,  strange town and I think it must be cut in half, being a Sunday was a bit difficult, none  or few shops open, not that I wanted to shop but did manage a few bits of sightseeing and then back to the bowls club for refreshments, very hospitable.

Lunch  with our grandaughter  who starts her "proper job" tomorrow in London, already talking about her next venture in travel, I don't feel she will  settle down for a long time.

Hope everyone is feeling chipper today despite whatever the weather throws at you.

Cornwall / Bodmin Moor

This might be a completely stupid question, but years ago, possibly back in 1970' I remember reading about a man who ran 2 families, he would run across the Moor from one household to another to  be with one of the " wives" and back to the other when he fancied.
A friend was talking about it recently

Good morning  all, hope everyone is feeling chipper this week

Expected to be a hot week this week, hope not to hot but I feel as if we have had hardly any summer at all..

Had one of those silly nights where I have lain awake for hours, eventually was up before 6am,  street lights still on, what a waste, the timer needs adjusting.

My grandson is 21 tomorrow but  he is away so if there is any celebrating it won't be till  he returns,  goodness knows  what to buy a 21 year old lad.

Viktoria,  hope your sons move next door will  be complete soon and you will  have your home back to do as you like when you like, hopefully you will  be invited next door for a cuppa or 2. Also hope there is better news about your friend

Take care everyone

Can anyone remember what date the Burlesque show was on at the Cliffs
 Pavilion  theatre this year please.

Might seem a strange request

Good evening folks , bit late but it is still  bank holiday Monday,  seems a bit like a Sunday  but really bank Holidays make no difference to  me, no extra day off like most retirees.

Been a bit mixed weather wise , when the sun came out it was quite warm but otherwise chilly

Hope everyone is well this week, Viktoria this includes your poorly friend.

Back to normal tomorrow
