Canada / EDITH (EDER)MANIGER

Edith Adelaide  Edermaniger, who dropped the EDER from her name  took on the name of Maniger whilst in Canada until she married  Elroy Taylor, I have no idea when , she was born in 1905 and as far as information already found I think she was still single till  about 1919, Edith Taylor died in the 1970's and Elroy was still alive them, I have lost communication with him but he must have also died  in the 1970's, I have a letter from him dated 1976, any help with a marriage will be appreciated,. Edith's mother remarried to the surname of Adams but I suspect Edith will be under Edermaniger or Maniger on her marriage

Someone on this board has FEWELL in their surnames, GEORGE FEWELL looks as if he originated from Chignal, he is in Chelmsford workhouse circa 1900 and died 27/03/1901, he is listed in deaths for June qtr 1901 aged 60

South Africa / MARRIAGE CERT FROM SOUTH AFRICA

I have a friend who has ordered a cert via the south African offices in London some 2 years ago, he has sent of his money to the SA high Commission in Whitehall and to date there has been no sightings of a marriage cert circa 1902, surely there must have been a quicker way but he having paid  he is reluctant to go elsewhere
