I can see lots of advertisements in American newspapers for 55c luncheons from the 1920s - 1950.

Actually, just checked - Chester Hill and Canley Vale didn't open until 1965.

Modified to add:
Patrician Brothers opened in 1953.
Fairfield Boys opened in 1954.

OH grew up in Fairfield, just a couple of km from Carramar. He went to Fairfield Boys High (coed now I think). There is also Patrician Brothers in Fairfield. He says it could also be Chester Hill or Canley Vale High Schools.

In 1891 they are still together at Amotherby:

William MORLEY  73   Pickering (stationary engine driver)
Mary                      73
George Robert MOON  13  Old Washington  (scholar)

The grandson's surname does not look like a shortened version of MORLEY to me. I thought MOON. The last "n" is different to that on the line below - is it DAVISON? , but similar to "son" that appears elsewhere.

Agree, Engine Driver [something] Mill, definitely starts with "F".

Not sure about any connection in the past. They were both for sale in 1965 - a description at the time:

"The Avon water runs under Gordleton Mill which dates from the Queen Anne period but which has considerable Victorian extensions. There are six bedrooms, three bathrooms and a swimming pool and cottage in its eight acres of land. Around £25,000 is being asked.
The stream has been diverted from under Flexford Mill which is about as old. The house has six bedrooms, two bathrooms and two kitchens, as well as a library, study, drawing room and dining room. There are 18 acres of land. Asking price £27,500."

You can see both mills on this 1896 map. I'm not an expert on Mills, but don't think they would have had any connection - except the river!
