Hello,
Looking for Immigration/Naturalization Records for Frederick Cecil Huseman (1844-1914), aka Fred Huseman,  who immigrated perhaps in 1864 and settled in Coffey County, Kansas. He also shows up as Foldrisk Husenaun. It looks like he had two wives: Amelia Pribbernow and Laura Jane Simon. My hunch is he may have immigrated from Germany.
   Thanks,
          Brian

I am looking for info on my Granduncle Charles Mann Dawson (1889-1962), b. near Topeka, Kansas, d. in Reno, Nevada He was a Violinist and runaway who toured the United States at least eight times annually at a young age, when he was reunited with his Dawson Family in Topeka in 1915. He trained in a musical course in Salt Lake City for three years, and also handled the big pipe organ of the Tabernacle in Salt Lake. He also toured Japan, Alaska and Canada, and elsewhere. He was a Bandmaster on a Japanese-American Steamer at the age of 14. Since he was a successful musician, I thought for sure there would be some sort of biography for him, perhaps in Utah, where he was trained. I was wondering if there was some sort of Mormon connection as well.
   Any help would be great,
    Brian

US Lookup Requests / Looking for some Swartz Family Members in Virginia Newspapers
« on: Tuesday 17 October 23 16:25 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
I am looking for any newspaper ads, wedding announcements, obits, etc. for my Swartz Family ancestors from Virginia. They include Phineas Swartz (abt 1773-after 1823), a bit of a mystery, who lived in Rockingham County, and married in Frederic County, VA. They also include John Swartz (abt 1792-abt 1845) who settled in Rockingham County about 1812-1823. Phineas was there at that time as well. They both lived in Pleasant Valley. And finally, Eli Swartz (1823-1874), who was born in Rockingham County and moved later to Rockbridge County, VA.
    Thanks in advance!
