Hello Carole, Nice to see your cat picture again. You helped me a lot with the 1st time I asked for help on RootsChat 3-4y ago, to do with Margaret's death. It has taken me until now to make any progress at all !!!! But now I have this burial date & details, it is a major step forward. She almost certainly died upto 7 days prior to this burial, but I have searched high & low, without success, for a death event in Ancestry, FindMyPast, FS, Deceased Online, GRO, Find A Grave, & all the Free... websites & have found nothing !!! I have also done wide-ranging searches for different name spellings etc. The fact that Margaret's name was spelt correctly on the grave list, & that she was buried in quite a fancy cemetery, makes me think that she was loved by her husband [a Coal Dealer]. I also think that as the cemetery was for Dissenters, there might possibly be connections with Non-Conformist Churches. Once I get a GRO reference, I shall immediately order her death cert !! If you are able to help further, I would be very grateful. With best wishes, Michael

See my latest post [new on 8/2/21] - Margaret Hawes was buried in Abney Park Cemetery, Stoke Newington, Middlesex, UK on 20/10/1868. Now I have to find her date & place of death !!

Hello, I have just found out the burial details of this direct relative of mine. She was buried in Abney Park Cemetery, Stoke Newington, Middlesex, UK, on 20 Oct 1868. She lived at 57 Margaret Street, Haggerstone, Middlesex, UK. She was born on 8 Jul 1840 in Attleborough, Norfolk, UK, maiden name Sivell. She married George Hawes [1838-1915] on 17 Sep 1861 in Tibenham, Norfolk, UK. Her son William Sivell Hawes was born in 57 Mgt St on 16 May 1868, who was buried near his mother on 1 Apr 1869. I have searched for over 2y for her death info on many of the main genealogy & death/burial websites, with no result !! I WOULD BE VERY, VERY GRATEFUL FOR ANY HELP WITH THIS. Thanks in anticipation, Michael

Have now received Elizabeth Wilson [aka Parkinson/Ray] birth cert 20/12/1874 at 49 Cranworth Street in Chorlton on Medlock [has links to that family at other times], mother Kate Wilson [formerly Parkinson] & father George Wilson [profession Commercial Traveller]. As well Elizabeth's older sister Kate Parkinson birth cert 1/6/1869 in Bethnal Green, mother Kezia Parkinson, no mention of father or his profession, but George Wilson Wilson's parents lived in Shoreditch/Hackney around 1867-69, so he may have been visiting there. So that is definitely a tidy wrap up to my original question. Special thanks to chempat & cuffie81

Yes, amazingly! I have also sent off for GRO pdf of an Elizabeth Wilson born Q1 1875 in Chorlton, Lancs [mother is surname Parkinson], so I am hoping that is her birth cert. Then it will hopefully be all sorted, in no small measure due to your & others help!

Frank & Kate Davies [& 3 children] lived at 12 Alan Road, Withington, Lancs in the 1911 Census. This is where Kate's sister Elizabeth went to visit on 2/9/1918 [see birth cert 3/8/1918 of Derick Parkinson  Ray] to register her son's birth

Innon & Pooly are both UK forenames, but given KP's integrity you are right to query them. KP also was a servant in Haggerstone St Paul, Middx in the 1871 Census

Parsonage Road intersects Alan Road in Withington, Lancs - As well George Parkinson moved from 50 Parkfield Street in Moss Side, Lancs to 32 Parsonage Road [see electoral register for 1901 for him in the details of] - all while he was in 50 Parkfield Street, Kate Parkinson was living separately at 49 Cransworth Street in Chorlton on Medlock, Lancs
