Clare / Feakle, Clare, baptisms and marriages
« on: Thursday 14 August 14 03:50 BST (UK)  »
Hello
Would someone please be able to look up the Feakle RC marriages for Patrick John Gallagher and Bridget Fennessy between 1850 - 1860 please.

Also Feakle RC baptisms before 1860 (after 1860 they are online here http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/don_tran/bmd/feakle_tulla_baptismal.htm  )

I am looking for the baptisms of Bridget and Daniel, children of Patrick & Bridget above. I have their other children's baptisms in Feakle - Mary b 1862, Edmund 1864, Catherine 1866, Patrick 1868 and John 1870.  Also the baptism in 1833 of their father Patrick John (father Thomas).

John (my great grandfather) came to Australia in the 1890s - as did his brothers Edmund & Daniel & sister Mary.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

Essex Lookup Requests / Eastwood Essex baptism lookups please
« on: Tuesday 12 August 14 05:50 BST (UK)  »
Hello
Would anyone be able to look up the baptism registers of Eastwood in Essex for me please?

Thomas Mead and Mary Sterns have three children (1841 census for Eastwood) -
Isaiah in 1830, Sarah in 1833, Samuel in 1840.  Perhaps there are more?

Also the marriage of Thomas and Mary around this time too.

Thanks

Hello

Would anyone be able to lookup the following Removal Order (from the Durham County Records Office Online Catalogue) for me please?

Catalogue Title: Lamesley St. Andrew Parish
Type/Category: Catalogue/Ecclesiastical Parish Records
Ref: EP/Lam 7/112 - Order for the removal of Jane Wind, single woman with child, from Great Usworth to Lamesley, 11 January 1816 (1 paper).

My ancestor William Wind, was baptised at Lamesley on 28 July 1816 the illegitimate child of Jane Wind and Job Gray, pitman.  I think the Removal Order above relates to this child, and would love the opportunity to see it.  I wonder also if there may be a Settlement Examination attached?

Thanking you in advance!

I am hoping someone would be able to look up the four generations of my family that were Freeman of Exeter, Devon. They were all Fullers by trade, and are found in the index available on Ancestry - Devon: Exeter - Freemen 1266-1967, Book 1670.

Eyles PIERCE - Freeman

Samuel PIERCE (1696-1765), son of Eyles PIERCE - Freeman

Adam PIERCE (1721- ), son of Samuel PIERCE - Freeman 1753

Charles PIERCE (1753-1823), son of Adam PIERCE  Freeman 1776

If anyone could look up their records for me, I would be very grateful.

Durham Lookup Requests / Pittington births - New Pittington
« on: Tuesday 15 April 14 07:45 BST (UK)  »
Hello, I have the birth certificate of my gg grandfather John LUKE who was born in New Pittington (illegitimate daughter of Jane LUKE) on 7 July 1850.

On the certificate in the when and where born column it lists what appears to be four initials before the words 'New Pittington'.  They appear to be F E A M. I'm sure the last two A M are correct but very unsure about the first two.

Can anyone tell me what this may mean?  As it was an illegitimate birth, could it be a workhouse, or unwed mothers home, or a charity organisation? I would love to solve the mystery.

cheers
