There is an entry in Google books for the Alumni Record of the University of Illinois at Urbana, which lists a Tansy Radford Agg, born 17 May 1878 in Fairfield, Iowa, son of Henry & Sarah Agg.  It lists his work history & address.

Also, found this:  http://www.archive.org/stream/whoswhoamongnort000233mbp/whoswhoamongnort000233mbp_djvu.txt

1880, the actual I'm looking at says White, Male    It does ask Relationship to Head of House which is indicated as Boarder so  I'm not seeing Patrick's status as "widow" or "single" confirmed

If you look to the right of where it says boarder, there are three columns for marital status.  Patrick has a slash in the third one, which indicates he was a widower.

However, his obit says he never married.  Whether that's accurate is anyone's guess, though.

The Boston passenger lists are on Ancestry.com.  Not sure if they're readily available elsewhere.

There doesn't look like there's anyone from her area listed right next to her, but about 8 lines up, there's a Margaret Ann Cross, age 28, also a cotton weaver, from Chorley, and her father Richard lives in Chorley.  She was headed to Pawtucket, Rhode Island to join her uncle John Hargreaves.

Louisa Derbyshire also shows up on a passenger list for the SS Arabic from Liverpool 7 Oct 1913 to Boston 16 Oct 1913.  She's age 33, single, cotton weaver, nationality - United Kingdom, last permanent residence - Ashton, U.S.A., father John Derbyshire, 227 Pall Mall, Chorley;  heading to home at 61 Center St., Pawtucket, Rhode Island (written after this is something like "for Mr. Hargreave" - maybe that's a connection to Margaret Ann Cross' uncle?).  Louisa was in Ashton, R.I. from 1912-1913.  She was 5 ft. 4 inches tall with dark complexion, brown hair, and blue eyes.  Born Salford, England.

Interesting - italiangen.org has a marriage from 10 Oct. 1909 for Abe Sinderbrand and Sadie Nisnowitz.  Maybe Nisnowitz was the name before it became Americanized?
