Please can anyone with access to the parish records of Bishop Canning shed any light on the following.

John Willis married Ursula Miles on the 10 Feb 1817 St John, Devizes, Wiltshire, England. However John Willis had been married prior to this and it is this information I'm looking for.

John died in Bishop Canning in 1842 aged 79 giving a Birth date of 1763c
Ursula died in Bishop Canning  in 1840 aged 64 giving a Birth date of 1776c she was from
Potterne, Wiltshire, England according to her marriage details on Wiltshire, England, Marriages, 1538-1837

Can anyone track her to parents?

I have been unable to find John Willis  on the 1841 census?

they had 2 children baptised in Bishop Canning

George 1817 Bishop Canning baptised 15 Jun 1817 and married Ann Smith in 1841 Pewsey
William 1820 Bishop Canning baptised 20 Oct 1820.

Information required if anyone can help

1841 census for John Willis born 1763 c
Who was John Willis's first Wife ?
Where was he born and parents

Ursula Miles born 1776c  who were her parents and siblings

I'm confused and can't sort out this query my head hurts.

I have what I Think is two families but cant sort out which and who belongs to who. Or is it just one family? given the Baptism's it could be, but Which Eleanor is the mother ??

There are two marriages in Shropshire for

George Yates to Eleanor.they are as follows

George Yates married Eleanor Hart  in Madeley Shropshire 9 July 1821
George Yates married Eleanor Fletcher Dawley Magna 22 April 1821
( no occupations are listed on the original records on find my past sadly.

I then looked for all children born to George and Eleanor in shropshire

It Looks like one of the George Yates's remarried on 18 May 1834 to Sarah Wall in Dawley Magna, Shropshire, England  on the Pallots marriage record George is marked as a Widower.

I can't track a death of Eleanor Yates in Shropshire Buried 27 Sept 1831 Madeley Shropshire ( Thanks to Leka for that information)

Mary Gates 1827c married John Watson on the 5 Feb 1848 in St.Ann'S, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England

I have all census after marriage all claim she was from Ripon Yorkshire and her marriage states her father as William Gates.

Please can anyone shed any light on an 1841 census prior to marriage ?
Or
Baptism of Mary Gates 1827c father William in Ripon Yorkshire .

Please can anyone help with Thomas Orton/Oerton

All I know about him comes from his childrens Baptism's /marriages and his own 2nd Marriage.

Thomas Orton and Lucy Unknown

George Orton born 1821 in Darlaston, Staffordshire, England
Baptised on the 16 Oct 1821 Baptism
St. Lawrence, Darlaston, Staffordshire, England

he married 1845 to Ann Garland his father listed as Thomas Orton File Maker .

also he had a sister

 Ann Orton christened 9 Oct 1820 St Lawrence, Darlaston, Staffordshire, England parents ThomasOrton  and Lucy Unknown .

Thomas Orton( father) had a second marriage on the 13 Dec 1841 St Peter's Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England to Mary Morton nee Bailey both listed as widowed  of full age and Thomas was a File maker his father listed as George Orton  deceased.

So too my question

Please can anyone see a Thomas Orton in the 1841 censusprior to marriage to second wife Mary, a filemaker by trade  ? his birth and age unknown but given he christened a child in 1820 perhaps born around 1790 to 1800c.

Or indeed in any other census perhaps with second wife Mary who I have no information on other than name and her father James Bailey ( Miner ) by trade .

can anyone see a poss Marriage Thomas Orton to Lucy around 1820c
