I don't know why he was on the Lenister - but had always understood that he was on his way "home", but sadly as we know that was never to be.

You could also try Nottingham Library (Angel Row) they are the most helpful team in the local history dept!

Hi,

The Nottingham Family History  Society have surveyed this grave yard and a disc is available from them with all the burials and inscriptions ( if there is one) Just thought this also might be useful for you for future reference! It make finding people easy if you are unable to visit.
