Just found the photo you posted of Milward Rowe Moore and his wife Mary. Milward is my 1st cousin 3 times removed and I've now attached the photo to my family tree - I trust that is O.K. with you.  I have some information on his grandson, Percy Milward Moore which I'm happy to share with you if you don't already have it.

Greetings - my first post ( I think) Recently found on microfisch a Thomas Isted married (or banns) to Sarah Moore of Beddingham 28/1/1801. I can't find either in any census from 1841 onwards. I'm not even sure of where Sarah fits into my family tree ( and I have quite a large tree) but since the Moores overran Beddingham from about 1750 until 1880 Sarah must belong in there somewhere. Can anyone help please?

Golly! Can't be my first posting as that is a 10 year old photo of me. I should update it but it's a lot better than my most recent one so I think I'll leave it :-)

I was also having trouble trying to find MacBillin and finally decided to Google the name and that's how I found these postings. Arthur is my first cousin once removed. I only had 3 children recorded - Reggie, Rachel and Allan - all born in Tarring Neville - so thank you for your information on the others which I shall now add to my tree. IF I can be of any help please contact me

O.K. I'm home but can't add anything re Wheatley unfortunately. I understand that Orriss and Alice had a son Richard Orriss Trayton Moore born Eastbourne, 1905. Does anyone have further information on him?

Greetings - I'm away from home at present so can't check but I know that Orriss Trayton is also in my Family Tree.  'My' Moores originated from Beddingham, Alciston and Firle. Thank you for the information by those that have acknowledged the original query - I find it very interesting and will post again if I can find anything to add

Hi Bunny - well I think that is the best possibility I have had yet! Thank you. William is my wife's g.g.g'father and whilst I have been able to trace just about (if not all) of his ancestors I have never been able to find out, after trying for quite some time, how he arrived here. Mustn't read too much into how he died but it seems as though he may well have been a ne'er do well. His wife Margaret, remarried very shortly after his death and a baby born shortly after that. William's or her new husband's I wonder? Margaret remarried a Glasheen who built the Golden Age Hotel, Trunkey Creek, N.S.W. nad appears to have done quite well for herself dying eventually in Parkes. Thanks Valda,  but I have exhausted all of those possibilities (I think). There were other Vickerys in the area - some very well heeled indeed - but no connection with my 'mob'. I've also searched ship's passenger lists to no avail. I'll keep trying but thanks again for your suggestions.

That was a quick response - thank you. Yes I do have his marriage certificate at St. Stephen's Presbytarian, Bathurst. I also have found a will of his but can't find any other information. He was described as a gentleman on his death certificate but I guess that doesn't really mean much as he only left his wife with 100 pounds worth of effects. He died in Geek St or Glebe St, Glebe , Sydney, of chronic liver disease. As you say, he was born at an awkward time as far as records go but I live in hope. Thanks once again.
