Right so that baptism of James Chandler in 1857 in Newington could be the right one, with father William and the death in 1901 at the age of 47 would also fit !!

I thought that there was still a minimum age of 18. They obviously had to get married as James charles was born 5 months after they married.

The deaths would be right and the description of his job would be right, but his son was born in Pancras R D and also married there in 1909.
