Earl of Derwenter, Devil's Water, Northumberland

I am searching 2 families:  Sir James Radcliffe, Lord Derwenter and his brother Charles Radcliffe.  James was executed in the Rebellion of 1725.  Charles Radcliffe was the last English Lord hanged after the rising of 1743.  My family were Bate - Camerons and Currie. They all rode in the battle of Culloden and I am searching for true descendants of these families of Northumberland.  1700 - present.  Thank you,  Sonia Bate
I am interested in locating as many of the BATE family in England as I can.  Also, Bate - Cameron links, Bate - Stuart links.  Family tree is from Trennick House, Truro, Cornwall.  Also have family crest with the words "Dieu et ma main droite" - we have French Huguenot roots as well.

I have found a birth for Charles Radcliffe....about 1691 of Derwentwater England... father Radcliffe-mother Mary Tudor. I find this so exciting as I am reading about Culloden a subject up until now that I new nothing about. ;D ;D ;D

 I have found a marriage for Charles 1710 to a Margaret or Meg Snowden and best yet his mother being Mary Tudar and father Edward Radcliffe ;D

I have searched for children of Charles and Margaret and found....Jane or Jenny Radcliffe born 1710
then a marriage for her 1726 Virginia to a Robert or Rob Wilson ;D ;D ;D

Have now found a child of Robert and Jane Wilson -Robin Wilson 1727 Virginia sadly a death in 1737

Have found a birth for James 1687 Derwentwater parents as Charles, also death 1745
Have searched for a marriage without success, very frustrating as he was first born. will keep at it.

Searched for other siblings and found.....Mary Tudor Radcliff 6 Oct 1697 Saint Martin In The Fields WestminsterLondon, England ...   death 16 March 1756....... parents Edward Radcliffe- Mary Tudor ... and Mary junior married William Petre 10 June 1721... I do hope this is information that you have not got. :D

This is most strange while searching for other siblings I found Charles thinking it would be the same but it wasn't.....
birth 3 Sept 1693 Little Pardon Essex England
Death 8 Dec  1746 Tower Hill London, Middlesex England
Parents Edward Radcliffe- Mary Tudor
He married Charlotte Maria Livingston after 1719 Of, Kinnard Perthshire Scotland just found it !24 Jun 1724 Brussel, Brabant, Belgium
This is strange as it contradicts the earlier information will have to check :-\
