Hi,

Did you make any progress with this?  I note that an Elizabeth Allcock was baptised at All Saints, Foulden on 13/4/1813 and shown as the daughter of Lydia Allcock.

I've just been having a glance at the background of Watson Alcock who married in Swansea and who was born in Foulden in 1889 to Alfred Alcock who appears as Alfred Allcock in the 1861 census in Foulden as the grandson of Thomas Allcock. Thomas was then aged 50. The spelling reverts back to Alcock for the 1841 census where Thomas's eldest daughter is called Elizabeth which is further evidence in favour of a possible connection with the subject of your enquiry.

Regards,
Phil
