I got to a similar point as you, but I'm not familiar with Kirkcudbright places my seldom crossed the border from Dumfries  ;D

My attempt

Robert Edgar Farmer at College head died in _____________ 1801. Mrs. Crocket South Mary Holm and Wm Bell died in Nov 1801. Tibby Beck Newbridge & Mary Tods mother at Do. & John McMasters wife Jardington & Kenneth McKenzie Barnhill all died about the beginning of winter 1801. ___ Baillie Smith about ___ end of 1800.

I see there is no Jardington on Multimap but I did see some papmphlets from the Dumfriesshire & Galloway Natural History and Antiquarian Society

They are here..

My gut feeling is this is where they were living and therefore where they died.  But I don't know.

Best of luck,
Pam

Just read the parish register extract.  Could it read Robert Edgar farmer died in harvest 1801?

Just found this thread and I'll have to have a look at the extract as I'm intrigued as Kenneth McKenzie, did die 7 Nov 1801 but the odd thing is that his sister Jessie married a James McRobert but that was in 1804.
That James McRobert, a teacher,  was born c.1778 and died 24 Jun 1856 in Terregles, his parents were Henry McRobert & Barbara McMillan, his death cert. shows only one wife  a Margaret Greive, I can't find her in the 1841 census, so I don't know whether she was before or after Jessie. He had a sister born c. 1790 in Dumfries.

Cheers
Niall
